‘Before you can forgive others, you have to forgive yourself.’ Do you agree?

This statement is a common understanding forgiveness. But is this what the Bible says about forgiveness? Check out this blog post on Biblical forgiveness. https://www.littlebitsofbliss.ca/post/spiritual-benefits-of-forgiveness

“Leap of Faith” or “Fully Convinced”?
      General Discussion
People often categorize the Bible as fairytale or myth, what with talking donkeys, a global flood, a man getting swallowed by a fish and surviving, and another man dying and raising himself back to life. We just don’t see things like this happen today. So as Christians, we sometimes think we just have to accept by faith that these things truly happened. We have to take a leap of faith! Or do we?? The Bible in fact tells us that our faith should be fully convinced, that we should grow and mature in our understanding and knowledge, and that we should have an answer for the reasons for our faith. How can we do this? Look to the evidence. There is, in fact, more evidence for God and the Bible than against them. It actually takes more blind faith to ignore the truths of the Bible than to accept them! For sources for this evidence: https://www.littlebitsofbliss.ca/post/how-to-overcome-doubt-in-faith

Do we have an obligation to share the gospel, or is it a special calling for specific people?
      General Discussion
In Romans 1, Paul says that he has an obligation, not only to Jesus Christ who paid our debt for us, but to the people Jesus has called him to reach with the gospel. Do we all have this same calling? Or are only some people called to this task? Share your thoughts.
